Moving Companies Must Re Weigh

January 12, 2010
By Moving Blogger

If you received a moving estimate that is based on weight of your household goods and it’s not a flat rate moving estimate you can ask the moving companies to do a re-weigh. It is a good idea to ask for re-weigh if you think that your household goods weight less than what the movers told you. By law the movers have to do re-weigh if you ask them to do so. When the movers doing re-weigh for your household goods go with them to the scales.
